I am glad to say that the season is pretty much over for the year. We had a busy one. We don't really set up at many faires and events but we attended a lot. We got to go to Norcal Pirate Festival which was a blast in June. We also attended Long Beach Pier Daze which was fun. We did pirate events we never knew existed. In September we went to Pirate Daze on the Queen Mary. The convention itself was so so but the parties were a blast! We will attend again next year if it happens I just hope the organizers choose a better date. This year it conflicted with 4 other pirate events. We ended the season out with Escondido, our home faire. This time we had a couple of new bits that went over real well. WE also were involved in a pre-battle show that really went over good.

Now I need to put on my campaign managers cap. My husband Captain Syn is up for the Devil's Dozen in Pirate's Magazine. We need to get as many votes as possible for him to get this great honor.  Tell anyone you know to place a vote.

Finally some down time then we start all over again in January.

As the Captain's Woman I feel it important to post about "Pirates For Children". This is a charity event that is dear to my heart. My crew will be attending this event. It is Friday June 5th in downtown Anaheim, CA. It starts at Noon. This event is to benefit all charities that have to do with children. Lee Arenburg and Marty Klebba will be there along with other pirates from POTC. There will be music. There will be a raffle and tickets will be sold at the event. Anyone interested in pirates or is a pirate can attend. Please support this charity.

Whew! Now that I am off my soap box. I just want to say that Faire was awesome this year. I had so much fun! I hope at next faire to meet other guilds. Our group will be busy over the next month with the Pirate party at the Haunted Head Saloon, the above mentioned event, a day trip to the Big Bear Pirate Festival and a weekend trip to the Norcal Pirate Festival. That is a lot of piratical things to do.
